Net2Phone Launches Customer Interactive Center
Real-time account access to all Internet telephony customers
.-- March 24, 1999 - IDT's Net2Phone (NASDAQ: IDTC) has made account
management easier for its users around the world. Today, Net2Phone
launched "My Account" Interactive Information center on its secure
web site, enabling the Company's Internet telephony users to access
real-time information about their accounts.
By visiting the Net2Phone web site at www.net2phone.com for PC-to-phone,
or www.net2phonedirect.com for phone-to-phone, users can securely
view their IP telephony accounts. Details displayed in the new section
include all activities related to their calls and bills, including
the time, length, destination, and charge for each call as well
as a history of all payments and credits.
"Most of our customers signed up with us online, and we believe
that making this information easier for them to retrieve will heighten
customer satisfaction," said David Greenblatt, Chief Operating Officer
of Net2Phone. "We have been focusing much of our attention on fully
integrated web-based solutions, and enabling our users to obtain
all of their account information online is very important to us
and our customers."
Users can view their account detail in real-time using a variety
of formats. They are able to set specific criteria for their call
and bill searches, and can query by date or time. Users are also
able to purchase new accounts or recharge existing accounts at either
of these sites. A sample user name and PIN are available on the
site to try the service.
Users of the new Mail Call service can also change their preferences
of retrieving their e-mail via telephone on a newly created secure
web site at www.mailcall.net2phone.com.
