Getting Started

Getting started with VoiceLine is easy.
Just follow these simple steps to sign up:

  1. Choose a calling plan that fits your needs.
  2. Choose a new phone number or transfer your current phone number.
  3. Choose a telephone adapter or a Wi-Fi phone.
  4. When you receive your device, connect it to your broadband connection. (Instructions are included with the adapter.)

  5. Plug in your phone and start using VoiceLine.

Service Requirements

In order to use the VoiceLine service, you need to have:

  • A VoiceLine account and phone number
  • A broadband Internet connection (such as DSL, cable, T1, LAN, or WAN)
    Note: Most broadband service providers use dynamic IP addressing, but if you have a static IP address, you will need to know your IP address, netmask, and gateway address. Your Internet service provider can give you this information.
  • An InnoMedia XT telephone adapter with built-in router or an XJ-100 Wi-Fi Phone (both are available from Net2Phone)
  • A telephone
  • A PC with Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser version 5.0 or higher (used for account management only)
